Xbox One startup problems

I've had this problem for a little wile now... When turning on my console, it turns on fine. The only problem is: the light on the front of the console goes on, but the controller won't connect and it won't connect to my TV either. I tried changing the batteries
in my controller and switching HDMI ports and turning it off and on again but it never works.

Recently I tried again with the same result. However, after about 5-6 minutes, my console got louder as if it were loading something. I tried connecting my controller for the hundredth time and it worked! I though the problem was fixed! But my dreams were
crushed when it stayed on the green startup loading screen and wouldn't load home....

Like I said, I've tried disconnecting and reconnecting all that I can and changed the batteries and turned it off and on again at least a dozen times with no success. Half the time it let's me go to the green startup after about 5 minutes but that just stays
stuck forever. I appreciate any help you can provide.

hey guys i need some help with starting up my xbox one s, everytime i try to connect to the wifi, i enter the password and then my xbox just shuts off, i dont know what to do, can any of you fellow gamers help me

Xbox One Startup Problems

I am having the same problem. My console shows up video on TV after 5 mins and it gets stuck with Green screen forever. So, does it mean, I should hold the BIND and Eject buttons (5 mins) until I see the video on TV?

Have you tried the Offline Diagnostic Tool?

I haven't tried that because it doesn't matter if I'm connected to the internet or not. It will just act as though it is off and stay on a black screen or after a while it will go on the green startup loading screen and stay stuck there. It never get's a
chance to try and download anything.

i have this problem right now and cant think of a single reason it would happen i tried 3 different HDMI cables and still a black screen

Hi iituti,

Sorry you're having issues with your console. First thing I would do is unplug anything connected to the console (external drive, kinect, anything USB), and try to see if it boots correctly. If it still doesn't boot, then try doing a hard reset.
With the Xbox on, hold the power button down for about 5-10 seconds. The Xbox will quickly shut off. After that turn your console back on and see if it starts correctly.

Update to anyone following this, I contacted customer support and did everything they suggested. As none of it helped they offered to replace my console for free since I haven't had it for long.

Not sure what you mean by "remove the account". Do you mean the game or my Microsoft account? I've done dozens of restarts and only rarely does it seem to work. The real problem is I can't logged in to do anything in "settings" or anywhere else. When
I can get to "settings" I do something and the console just freezes, like changing the resolution to 1080P.
