    Xbox One Startup Issue


    Hello,

    Just recently, my Xbox has been making a chirping noise, which I assume is the fan, while attempting to start up the console. This chirping would last for 5-10 seconds with no picture on the TV screen and then the Xbox shuts off. I have been unable to successfully
    startup my Xbox as it continues to start, chirp, and then shut off. I have tried multiple methods of resetting the power and Xbox and have had no success. I have attempted to register my Xbox online to get a repair and for whatever reason, I can not click
    the register button even though I have entered the correct serial number from my Xbox.

    Please help!

    It sounds like you might be having some update troubles with your Xbox One. When you get a chance please check out this

    Xbox One Update Troubleshooter     and run through the steps for the green screen you're running into. If you're having troubles with this green screen error, please let us know.

    Hello Russell,

    Sorry to hear about the issue with the console. Have you tried to unplug it completely for 30 minutes. Then plug it back in and try to turn it on. When you register the console are you signed in on your account? You can go to

    Device support     register the console there and then set up a repair.

    The first thing to try would be to hard reset your console. Hold the power button on the console for 10 seconds or until the console shuts down completely. Let it sit for a couple of minutes then power it back up and see if the problem is resolved. Let
