Xbox one starts up, after 15 seconds shuts down

Hi all,

My Xbox one is not working lately.

If I try to turn the xbox on, the light will go on for 15 seconds. After that the fan stops 2 seconds later and the harddisk stops.

I don't see anything on my screen, so i don't know if the xbox is really starting up.

Does someone know what the problem could be?

Wich part should be replaced ? Or is my motherboard completly dead?

If you have access to another power supply you might see if replacing that will correct the problem. If not you should contact
Xbox Support and set it up for a repair.

Sorry to hear you are having issues with your Xbox.

I would suggest first trying a Power Cycle of the Xbox One and seeing if this helps.

Also take a look at the Console turns of automatically
support page.

I would also check that the fans are clear of dust and the Xbox is in a well ventilated area.

Is the Xbox still under warranty?

That happened to me also. What I did was a full Xbox one shut down. Press and hold down the power button for about 5 seconds. After the Xbox is completely shut down, start it back up. It should work now. Let us know if that worked out for you!

Did you do a hard reset? While it XBOX is on hold the power switch on the console down for 10 seconds or until the unit shuts off completely. After 15 seconds then power it back up and see it that corrects the issue. Let us know.

Held the Xbox power button for 10 seconds to shut it down, after I unplugged the power cord for 20 seconds, plugged it in and started up, everything works good now, no flickering.....yah!
