Xbox One "Start Party" -> "Invite Friends" Not Working error 0x800c000b?

I got this Xbox Yesterday and set it up without any real issues aside from this.



When I try to start a party then "invite friends"

It "searches" for a long time time then finally returns with error 0x800c000b

I have tried to look this code up on the website but it returns with "There are no results for "0x800c000b"."

I have checked my NAT which is "open" and everything else seems OK.

I Have tried turning Xbox and router off then on to reset with no difference.

What could the problem be? I'm not sure what to try next.

Xbox app not receiving party invites/messages from the Xbox HELP?

I have the same problem. Xbox app does not get invite, but Xbox does.

 

Gold failure

I am having the same issue. In addition I am prompted to purchase a Gold membership when trying to invite friends to a party. Friends trying to invite me receive an error message.

Thanks for the suggestion but I've already worked through that post and sent a PM to Misses Beep with the requested info (no response yet)

As I said, my NAT is open. Xbox has a ststic IP and ports are ports are forwarded to Xbox.

Port 53,3074 (UDP and TCP)

Port 80 (TCP)

Port 88,500,3544,4500 (UDP)

 

Please go to Settings > Disc and Blu-ray > Persistent Storage > Clear Persistent Storage then Settings > Network > Advance settings > Alternate MAC address > Clear > Restart

a xbox employee named Jace helped me she was wonderful and this worked hope it helps

I cant do anything without this *** error code popping up, but I can't find anything on the support page to help me? Thanks microsoft. Thinking about just selling this *** thing and going to ps4...

Im *** rn. I figured out tho that xbox is experiencing issues with "social and gaming". They better fix this *** fast smh

 

Well. They doesn't care. It popped out for the first time and I can't fix it. Thanks for the fact, that there is no help for this code at the code search!
