    hi i have a question for everyone is it worth having the xbox one on stand by at all times.... i mean i don't want to burn or anything how long can it last on stand by... 4 years 10 years thats what i ask my self does anybody know thanks any information

    Xbox one S Stand By

    People, I left a game today downloading in xbox one s in stand by, and I have a custom to leave a cloth on top to avoid the entry of dust, and when I went out, I left the xbox in stand by and forgot,
    and I ended up putting the cloth and I was only remembering when I was well away from my house, this may have prevented some overheating ... could have damaged the console's mess or the thermal paste dried? Help me, I'm worried ...

    I think most X1 owners keep theirs like that. It allows for the system to download and install updates. It really isn't much different to the 360, other than it uses more power being in standby.

    i got another question if you have a external hard drive and the system is set to stand by....is it good to check box that says turn hard drive when xbox one is off does anybody thanks

    One x on a vertical stand? Ment the manual say against it?

    The Xbox One X, Xbox One S and The Xbox One All Digital can all be placed vertically on stands. This is not the case for the original Xbox One. While any undue wear and tear caused by the stand is covered under warranty, the warranty only covers Microsoft
    branded stands.

    The Xbox versions compatible with the stand can only be mounted one one side and not both.

    It is important to have adequate ventilation around your machine.

    Hello Caio,

    It could overheat with the cloth on top of it. On an Xbox one original there are vents on the top. On the Xbox one S and X there isn't. I wouldn't recommend putting a cloth over it due to could block airflow. here is a guide for
