Xbox One S's fan makes mindblowing noise

If the fan is indeed crackling, then this is not a normal sound.

In case the seller is unwilling to repair or replace your console, do NOT open the console to repair it yourself.

Instead go to

From what you've described, it definitely sounds like your Xbox console needs to be repaired / serviced.

If you've owned your Xbox for a year or less, you'll still be under the manufacturer warranty.

If you've owned your console for more than a year, you'll have to pay the repair fee.

I would turn the console off, avoid using it for the time and attempt to contact microsoft and begin the repair process.

Sounds like an internal issue to me. I would start the repair/service process ASAP.

Make sure the console has enough space. In this way the fan will dissipate heat well and the fan will be quieter, while in a closed space the console will overheat.
