My original xbox one has a bad squeeling sound when I'm playing games. Usually when the squeeling occurs, the game I am running runs slower or lags out. I've tried cleaning the vents and it has not proven successful.

Hello Mini R, my name is Oskayra, and I will be happy to help you.

Beforehand, it is important that you keep in mind that this is a public community forum, so we are players like you, we are not employees of Microsoft or Xbox, so we do not have access to any user account or check anything from the forum. All users help each other with common problems.

I am very sorry for the problem you are going through. I was researching in one of the Microsoft forums and found this article (https://answers.microsoft.com/thread/070eb51a-755a-40b4-b08a-86a4cf416bfd)">https://answers.microsoft.com/thread/070eb51a-755a-40b4-b08a-86a4cf416bfd) Gerardo C. independent advisor , shows that the solution to the problem can be solved by following these steps:

"If the console's fan speeds up too much even when it is turned off, it is most likely a hardware problem.

First of all, please check if when you press the power button on the console you hear the sound that indicates that you pressed it.

If this sound is heard, please try the following procedure.

Try restoring the console to its factory settings while keeping your games and applications using the Xbox troubleshooting screen, if it is a console software problem it will be solved this way.

First of all, make sure that the console does not have any game disc inside, if this is the case, please remove it before starting the procedure:

    1. Turn off the console and unplug the power cord for 30 seconds to make sure the console is completely off, then plug it back in but don't turn it on yet.

    2. Press and hold the Pair and Eject buttons on your console, then press the power button on your console once while still holding down the Pair and Eject buttons.

    3. Press and hold the Pair and Eject buttons for 10 to 15 seconds until you hear the console power-on tone again, once you hear it you can release the buttons.

    4. The console should turn on and display the Xbox startup troubleshooter on the screen.

To reset the console, select reset this Xbox. When prompted, select Keep games and apps. With this option, the operating system will be reset and all data that may be damaged will be deleted, without deleting your applications or games so that your console can turn on without problems.

If the sound is not heard when trying to turn on the console or if you cannot access the troubleshooter screen, then this would indicate that the console has a hardware failure, that is, with some internal component of the console. It will be necessary for you to send your console to a trusted technician in your area to inspect and repair it correctly.

If your console is an Xbox One S or

In the following link you can create a service order for your console if it is an Xbox One S or X:

    https://account.microsoft.com/devices/

You must register your console in case it does not appear (with the "Add device" button in the upper right corner) and then you must click on "Information and support" on your console and then select "Start order", finally you must fill out the data they request.

Well I think I'm goin with Gotham Imposters, and If I don't like it, I'm goin with a gamer tag change

Gotham City Impostors is a great multiplayer title. It has unlockables for character customization with clothing, hair, make-up and what accesssory you want from body armour to roller skates, weapon mods and kins and calling cards for your rank and different
mottos to throw on it. So it makes you want to keep playing to unlock these things and level up. I love fighting against people with my half-naked afro donning squeeling clown voice whilst rolling skating shooting them down with a bazooka. It was an instant
purchase for me when it was released.
