Xbox one squeaking

I got my xbox one in December and since then console has run perfectly no problems whatsoever until about a few days ago when the console started making annoying squeaks every 2 or seconds My assumption is that it's the fan , is there any fixes for this
or is the console going to break

Xbox one fan squeaking often anyway to fix it? Got it back in November during Black Friday but that darn squeaking noise so annoying when watching tv.

send your console in for a Repair i had Similar problem in 2014 of November i did a console Exchange

 

Same thing is happing with my xbox one. No problems with it since day one. Now xbox one sounds like a squeaky hamster wheel.

 

Hell there Darth Arbo/fellow star wars fan. I'm sorry to hear that your having this problem, I would be so upset since I just got my console 1 month ago. Sorry to say that there really is no fix for your console making a mechanical noise. you'll need to
try to talk to the retailer if your still within their warranty or return policy or look into setting up a same unit repair or advanced exchange with Microsoft. You can register your console on myservice.xbox.com and setup the same unit repair from there,
or you can call 18004699269 and setup the exchange with an agent after you've registered your console.

 

Well Star is close, trouble shooting wise there isn't a whole we can do. But here is a couple tips to try before you attempt to swap it out.

1) Power - Power is a big deal with the new system. If the system is starved for power then perifrials, including the cooling system, i.e. the two fans in the system. So first off we want to make sure we're not plugging the system into a power strip and
plugging it in directly into the wall.

2) Maintenance - While we always want to make sure the system is in a well ventilatted area, no matter where you put it, it's going to collect dust and debris. It won't hurt the system to go ahead and unplug it from every thing and then using the vents
on the side, blow some compressed air into it. Just move it around as you clean and try not to stay in one place for too long.

The big suggestion here is the second one. Try cleaning it out and doing a hard reset (hold down finger on the power jewel on the front and let the system turn off) and see if that helps. If not try both these suggestions, and then fall back on an exchange
if these don't work.

 

It's stopped making the squeaking I've gave it breathing room and have been power cycling it daily, but that that was due to constant disconnection but none the less it's stopped
