Xbox one spilt liquid please help!!!

So as I was playing a video game online with my friend, my stupidity and clumsiness with most electronics came about. I spilt way less than a teaspoon of soda on the edge of the fan part on my xbox, I'm hoping it landed on a blade part and not any circuit
I immediately turned it off when this happened and tried to quickly clean off the little soda bubbles on the holes and I'm leaving it to dry. I'm hoping it will be fine since it was such a small amount of soda but my anxiety is freaking me out is there anything
I should do, will my xbox be fine and work?

If you still have a guarantee you should send it because the liquid damage depends on the parts that you have reached

Hiya!!

I'm sorry to hear this happened to you but I'm sure you have learned to never set any drinks on or in close proximity to not only your XBOX but any electronics. Soda is one of the worse things that can be spilled on electronics as the syrup in the soda
will cause them to short circuit. If it's spilled on the fan while running will fling the liquid within the case and most likely on the motherboard. Some things you can try is unplug the console and turn it upside down to let it dry. I would give it about
2 or 3 days and then try to reconnect and try to turn it back on and see if it powers up. If not, if the console is within warranty, contact technical support and send it in for repairs. If it powers up, make sure that you keep the console off a floor placement
and never have any liquids in close proximity to the console..
