I know what you mean. I purchased my 360 for $400 back in 2005. Then the price kept dropping. Now, I could have purchases the Kinect-less one for that $400 right away. Or wait a few days to purchase it for $350. And my cell phone, price dropped after
it had been out a year. Slap! My t.v., yep you guessed it. Slap! Basically all my games dropped after less than a year. Slap! I may need to stop buying stuff.

As for this sale I saw it coming. I cancelled my order for the Sunset bundle about a week or so ago. Was going to wait on the price drop but I received a 10% off coupon for an Assassin's Creed bundle that was going to end a few days ago. That also had
a $50 gift card good for other game purchases. So, I will be picking up another game for around $15 (free shipping). I went ahead and ordered a copy of Sunset on another order.

 

This loosely translates to..."Our sales are no where near where we want them to be so we are pulling out all the stops".

The rapid drop in price of the Xbox is sure to nab some new people but will also annoy anyone who has already purchased the system. Not announcing any sort of benefit to already having the console before these bundles is a sure way to alienate the current
fan base. I already own a Xbox one and I am frustrated at what I paid after the multiple price drops. Not Cool MS! Not cool!

 

Geeze not this again. We ALL knew, at least those of us with a working knowledge of how business works, that this could very well happen. Yes myself and others paid more for Day One access. However, we have gotten to enjoy the product and watch it grow
to what it is now whereas others have not. This blatant self entitlement mess because you feel like you got robbed routine is getting old. If you really feel that way, then sell your Xbox One and move on with your life.

 

Weeks desperation, can't say nobody saw this coming, MS ruined the brand once they announced the one, at this rate it will be lower then the 360 in a few year.

 

Why do you say that? More of a smart business move in my opinion. Great games coming out, so encourage people to play by lowering the price a little. I know that this move has definitely worked for me. I am going to get an Xbox one soon and enjoy it. So
no desperate, more of a smart business move. Don't hate on MS, this is a smart move
