Xbox one spasms, this makes it easier for whomever is helping you with the issue and it prevents confusion.

if on cloud save syncs then yes but only some games do that.

factory reset does have 2 functions a keep everything which only removes accounts and os and the other is a wipe everything option so you're all good .

Yes it happens on all controllers. I'll be sure to try everything. Thanks for the help!

Thank you for taking the time to post this on the Xbox Forums. We understand that you are currently experiencing difficulties with your console opening up the Xbox Guide while idle.

Does this happen when you use other controllers? Have you ever had a chance to use your controller on another console to reproduce this?

If you haven't already, I would first recommend using a
power cycle on your console to see if this will help resolve this.

Alternatively, if this does not help resolve this, you might have to try using a soft

factory reset on your console. This can be done by using the Reset and keep my games & apps option when in the reset menu, as this will save you some time to get back to gaming.

Keep in mind that this will remove any accounts and Home Xbox associations on your console, so be sure to have the email and passwords of the accounts you wish to recover.
