    Xbox One Sound Issues?

So when I got my new Xbox One I noticed that every once in a while I would be playing a game and suddenly the sound will become all... distorted. It sounds really bad and lasts maybe a minute before returning to normal. When a character in the game speaks
they honestly sound exactly like a droid from Star Wars. Every other sound is just painful and distracting from the game.

I thought this was just one of many problems Battlefield 4 had or a issue with the new consoles that would be patched out. However, I now notice it in other games like Dead Rising 3 and Titanfall many months and many patches later.

Is there anything I can do to fix this?

    :)

    Xbox ONE Sound?

Hi guys. I have tried for MONTHS to find a direct answer to this problem of mine.

I currently play my games on a monitor. Video is hooked up to the HDMI port. My monitor has no speakers, and no sound port for a jack. I receive sound from my component cables and speakers being plugged into a splitter that I bought separately.

Since there's no component cables for the Xbox One, how will I be able to receive sound? Do we know if the USB ports will output sound through USB compatible speakers? Any help or ideas will be appreciated!

    XBOX ONE sound?

Hi B3VERAGE, You are going to be able to buy an adapter for headset. As for speakers, when you get the x-one you will more than likely have to get a HDMI converter box. you will be able to find out more closer to launch. hope this gives you an idea.

I haven't seen it happen again but there is often long breaks between the problem. Does anyone know if something can be done?

Not a problem I've seen elsewhere.

Have you tried any different outputs for the audio? Such as a headset or speakers?

Although it 'is' more likely that it's some problem with the console, it may just be the speakers of your TV/set up dying?

(Sorry for late reply. Guess I lost hope I'd receive a response).

It's never happened when watching regular television (cable box not connected to xbox), so I doubt it's the speakers.

Today it happened twice in a relatively short period of time which is a first. I changed an audio setting on the Xbox One console itself, and after making a random change it stopped. As I said before, this is never a permanent problem and stops on it's own,
so I will have no idea if my change helped or not until I've given it a few days and played some games.

I should mention that this problem follows me to the dashboard even if I quit a game. I don't believe it's caused by running a game. If I think it's fixed I'll be sure to figure out exactly what change I made, but basically I just changed an audio setting
to the first option that it actually allowed.

Please, if anyone knows what this is and if it can or cannot be fixed let me know.

It happened again, and I played with the sound settings on the Xbox some more, but it happened two more times. Nothing I have done has made any change.

Please, if anyone has any ideas let me know. It's starting to look like I'll need to return it...
