Xbox One Sound Distortion

Ever since I got my Day One console I have noticed an odd audio distortion that occurs usually once every several hours of play, and only for about a minute each time. I thought it was the game at first, but it's happened on other games and after every console
update it still happens. Here's some facts:

• Only ever happened in-game, but it follows to the dashboard or other games even after quitting the one it started in. Leads me to believe it's a console problem.
  
• All sound during the brief period this problem occurs is distorted and full of static and echoes. Voices sound like droids from Star Wars (serious).
  
• 99% of the time the sound is perfect.
• I have played with the Display and Sound settings on my console. I have now tried every sound setting it allows me (Stereo Uncompressed or Bitstream Out is all I can do). Problem continues.
  

I have made a post about this already but received only one response. He believed it could be my speakers or TV set up, but then I believe I would have this problem watching regular television, which does not happen. Can anyone help, please? Thanks.

Error 0xc0350006

hello, my Xbox One refuses to run any games showing (after loading screens) unknown error message - 0xc0350006. Apps run on the other hand normally. There are some sound distortions during xbox boot (when xbox logo is visible on TV screen)

Also just to add i have tried a different HDMI cable and this is not the problem nor is the TV>

 

This is definitely a unique problem your having General C34, It sounds to me that you've already went through most of the settings that we could walk you through. The only thing I could think of is that you could try to do a factory reset on the console
to re-download the system update (you won't lose your game saves since they are synced to the cloud but you will have to reinstall everything). If the issue is still persists, then you'll have to look into doing a same unit repair or an advanced exchange.

 

There was a problem I had in the first two weeks of owning the console that led me to do a factory reset. Thinking about it now, the problem I'm now having might have started AFTER that first reset... so it's a good idea I haven't considered and will certainly

I did the factory reset and re downloaded my favorite game right now, Titanfall, and played a bit. Sadly, after about only an hour all sound became suddenly distorted just as before. It's very depressing.

I guess if I'm the only one experiencing this problem, I have no choice but to replace or repair it. Whatever the process for broken consoles is. I'll look into it.

And so it ends. The problem was with the HDMI cable that came with the console all along. For some odd reason, it works fine hooked up to the Xbox 360. I can't believe such a painful problem is all caused from a silly wire. Thanks to everyone who helped.
I hope anyone who may have had this same problem can find this solution.

 

Bro I'm having the same issue with my day one. It even messes up when I watch blue ray or Netflix. So all you had to do was replace the HDMI cable?
