Xbox One: "Sorry, we can't play this disc..."

I've seen this error message too many damn times today. Went through 2 sets of consoles and games from Gamestop and still keep getting it. Some people have said its an issue with the latest update and thats great...BUT WHEN IS IT GOING TO BE FIXED?!?!?

This is outrageous.

Sorry for the issue of not being able to play online.

What game are you trying to access this with?

Are you trying to just check on your friends feeds?

When I look up that error its specific to the Xbox 360. What self help steps have you also tried?

"Sorry, we cannot launch this"

Hi!

I am experiencing some frustration with my Xbox One. When I select features like: Friends Online, Party Chat, or Messages; I get an error message on screen:

“Sorry, we cannot launch this – The item you are trying to use appears to be corrupt. Try uninstalling it then reinstalling. 0x80070570”

I have looked around and did what ‘Mister Fizzle’ recommended, however this did not help.

If this is any support for this issue it would be gladly welcomed! Right now, I have a 499.99 paper weight.

Hey there, o ArT iV o! I am very sorry to see that you aren't able to play your discs! Since you've already done an exchange, the only course of action to do is getting a repair done. You can do it either through our
Online Service Center or by

On DVDs it reads "Sorry, we can't play this disc. The disc is made for region 1 and this console is designed for region 4. (0x91d70005)"

So if fifa 23 was bought via the disc and down To xbox one we can't carry progress over , is that correct . Sorry im not very technical thanks

Thanks guys. I've elected to return the console instead of waiting for a patch as I am still inside my return period.

The Xbox team are aware of this issue and it looks like the options are to either return the console to the retailer or Microsoft or to watch for a patch to be realised.
