    Xbox one sometimes won't power on. Also freezes with loud buzzing audio.


    Hey guys, so this is my current situation.

    I sometimes need to wiggle the cable into the power brick a frustrating number of times in order to get the xbox to turn on. Recently I got fed up with doing this and left the console unplugged for almost a month. Last night I plugged it in once and turned
    it on and it worked fine....until!

    After watching netfix, then playing a little Doom (all my games are digital) the game froze, and a very loud buzzing sound came from the tv, not the console. I was still able to operate the xbox after a few seconds, and could have closed the game an such.

    Can anyone assist me in what exacty is going on with this console?

    Xbox One console (not power brick) making buzzing noise

    I have an update on mine.

    The buzzing seems to change with each game I put in the disc drive.

    I put in Battlefield 4, and it's very loud. Loud enough to where I have to turn my TV up louder than normal.

    Madden 25 is much quieter, and sometimes the buzz won't even be there.

    I've tried it multiple times, and the buzzing is always loudest with BF4 in the drive.

    It goes away when I take the disc out, and is completely silent like it should be. Like I said before, there hasn't been a problem with it yet, loads the disc fine and reads it normally, it's just the buzzing for me.

    Games randomly crash and return to dashboard

    Titanfall does this sometimes. Makes a loud buzz and freezes for 10 seconds then crashes to the home screen. I doubt it's the publishers, seems like xbox is the one to blame.

    I'll get the occasional freeze on the One and the X and they both make a loud buzzing sound when they freeze.

    Mic not being picked up with stereo adapter

    I have an issue with headset adapter, if you plug in the USB & charge the pad with the headset connected, you get a buzzing through the mic. It's not audible to people in the chat/party but if you try to record audio in say upload studio its as loud as the
    game audio & not usable.

    Also the mic activator image is constantly on when the USB is connected, due to the buzzing.

    Needs fixed, since the pads won't last long with the headset connected, since game audio & voice audio are going through the pad.

    I have the XO Four headset, works great if you don't connect the USB to power/charge the pad.

    (Just in case)

    When updating your pad/adapter connect the audio jack before doing it.
