    Xbox One somehow controlling by itself...


    Hi! My Xbox One is somehow controlled by itself and my controller won't work. As in ALL of the conrollers. And yes, I DID try turning it off. I even looked online! And I'm not sure if my controller charger hacked it.

    Xbox one remote & AV inputs

    With the Xbox One Media Remote, there would not be a way to switch AV inputs. It is for controlling the Xbox One console itself and the media on the console only, and thus would have no way to switch your TV's input.

    Sorry to hear about the controller issue! I see that you mentioned you powered the Xbox One console off, but let's try doing a full power cycle to clear the system cache out. Once you power back on, try

    Syncing your Xbox One Controllers     again. Follow the steps below:

    • Press and hold the power button on the Xbox One console for 10 seconds, or until the unit is fully powered off.
    • Unplug the power supply from the back of the Xbox One console and let it sit for 5 minutes.
    • Plug the power back in and power on.
    • Re-sync the Xbox One controllers to the console.
    Follow each of the steps above and post back to let us know how it goes! Xbox One somehow controlling by itself... :D

    Okay I see. It was just because of the fact of Xbox Controller Updates, that as I thought, they update Xbox Controller in "Controller" and not in Xbox system itself. That is why I worried that viruses could somehow enter to Xbox Controller and start infecting other devices where I would plug my Xbox Controller (e.g. other PC/laptop, Xbox One, or whatever (cloud gaming, so I mean also Android i guess?))...
