Xbox One Solid White Background colour

Hi all,

I was wondering how to get a solid white background colour for the Xbox One Home background. Strangely enough the console does not ship with a simple white colour background. So using Media Player, I streamed one from my computer onto the console, but when
I put it as my background, there is a black tint that goes over it and makes it look grey, defeating the purpose of a white background. I don't understand why there just isn't one available in the first place.

Any help on how to circumvent this would be greatly appreciated

Background and color

Transparency only works when you have custom or achievement art selected as background, Try setting an achievement as a background then change back to solid background colour of your choice .

Can you turn off transparent titles in the new update

At the moment no but there should be an option to resolve this soon, all you can do for now is go back to the solid colour background.

I don't know why it didn't work for you; I tried the same thing and it works just fine for me (although, I gotta tell ya, it actually doesn't look all that great).

Is it possible you could send a pic of what it looks like? When I try, I get a dark tint over the white background which makes it look greyish :/

anything causes offence, a friend of mine had to have his ban overturned as he was initially banned for having just a solid white colour as his pic, nothing just pure white background and he got done along the lines of racism. had a forced gamerpic done aswell, they changed it to a default stock image which was more leaning towards racism than anything else.
