Xbox one social services crashing on last day of Destiny Beta!

Today I got on my Xbox One after work to see that the Xbox live core services are down. I wanted to spend the last time a had playing the Destiny Beta with a couple friends of mine, but unfortunately Xbox had to have this online mess up again. All I'm asking
is that they delay the conclusion for the Destiny Beta. This was very unfair to me and all the rest of the community. I know there are Beta testers out there so show some support on my post so we do not get cheated out of on our time playing The Destiny Beta for
the last day!

Outraged, AGAIN!

I should have kept my ps4 this is pathetic. Last day of the destiny beta and I can't even play with my friends. Never had that problem with PSN I guess the Xbox one performs as good as it looks

The PS4 beta of Destiny, which begins today, is expected to run in 1080p resolution - after all,

last month's alpha did. However, the Xbox One beta, which begins on July 23, will not, according to comments made during

an IGN livestream yesterday. Before anyone sounds the alarms, Bungie Community Manager David Dague maintained the developer's aiming to hit 1080p "across all platforms."

Talking to Dague on the stream, IGN's Ryan McCaffrey said, "The way game development works, correct me if I'm wrong, the beta has to be branched off well in advance, aside from the main game. So the final game will run at 1080p on both [PS4 and Xbox One], but
we won't see that on the beta of Xbox."

I wonder if it has anything to do with bungie giving Sony early dlc access

 

its a beta,we were there to try and break stuff.not play the game for fun.

is that why you thought everyone was there?

ya sure some fun was there to be had.you didn't miss out on much.8 levels and some broken multiplayer.

if were lucky they will extend it another day.if not you got what you paid for no?

what exacally is unfair?that you in particular couldn't play?you could play story mode or redo missions.only multiplayer was broken.

its not like your going to get to keep your stuff.the only advantage is practice that will grow rust in the two months time away.

umm I am still in beta, just did a mission

 

i keep getting connection errors and "The Destiny Servers are at Capacity"

 

I assume that Bungie must be testing something or allowing the shutdown of other servers because up until today I had zero problems logging on. But up until around 4pm EST today, the system was running clean. Now at 8pm EST, I am getting an error code of
"Chicken" which when you check with help.bungie.net it basically tells you that the system is under-going repairs. Too bad that these fixes had to occur on the very last day of potential playing. I thought I was going to get on for a few more hours but the
system just told me that the server is at full capacity and I would have to wait based on my assigned number. At that time, my number was like 1,600 plus, but I was kicked out just as I thought I was going to be able to play. But its a BETA testing so at this
rate I am just happy to get some time in.

He is frustrated that the Xbox live social features were playing up on the final day. It was an Xbox live issue it had nothing to do with destiny. You could not access the friends list and therefore he couldn't play with his buddy. Read the post
