Xbox one snap switch issues

I have a new xbox without kinect . When you snap it wont switch the apps when you double tap the home or go back to the home, highlight the smaller screen on the right of the big tile and press a. Tried a whole lot, tech support says never heard of this
just manually download the update, because they think it might be a corrupted file even though my update downloaded fine. I've only had a one for a week and never knew of this feature till I tried it today and it wont work. Anyone else heard of this and
any fixes?

Issue since October 2014 update

Since the October 2014 update on XBOX One, I've noticed a number of issues:

1. Unable to access Display and Sound

2. Double clicking the XBOX button enabled Snap for a little while, but now doesn't work. My only option is to select the Snap icon, but I'm unable to switch between main window and Snap. I have to back out to the dashboard and switch between main and
snapped app.

3. Unable to reset to factory default.

4. XBOX One locks up when trying to access Notifications.

How else would you command your Xbox One to Snap or switch a game?

 

also can anyone test if their one has the same issue?

 

I also never heard of this Problem... Under Settings System get shure that your on newest Firmware.. There you can also Update your Controller..

Also you can do a Hard Reboot/Reset:

Please give the following steps a try:

◾Press and hold the power button on your Xbox One console for 5 seconds.

◾Once your console is powered off (wait ~30sec until power supply light turns Orange)

-, unplug the power cord.

◾Wait 5 minutes and then plug in your console.

◾Power on your console and try again
