Xbox one SmartGlass picture messaging

Discus and support Xbox one SmartGlass picture messaging in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; How do i send pictures from the SmartGlass app for a friend to view on their console?     How do i send pictures from the SmartGlass app for a friend to view on their console? I've seen others do it but can't figure out how.

    Xbox One Messaging is Just Bad...

    I use the Xbox One SmartGlass app for all my messaging, works perfectly. Using a controller to type something out seems like more work than it needs to be. Get keyboard or just use SmartGlass.

    I guess older people may not want it, but, who here would like Picture Messaging on Xbox 1? Xbox 360 has it. One of my friends sent me one this afternoon. Hardly anyone on Xbox 360 sends picture messaging anyway since I got Xbox late 2010. I've only had
    like less than a dozen picture messages.

    I love the social features Microsoft provides through Xbox Live. Xbox Live Party, Avatars, Voice Messaging (which Xbox 1 didn't have for months after Launch, but finally has, it was one of the BIGGEST requested ideas on the official feedback site), text
    messaging, Kinect, Skype, etc. Xbox 360 and Xbox 1 is like social media, and how Microsoft creates these ways to interact online. I think Picture Messaging would be an interesting addition to Xbox 1. Yes, some will say others may abuse it. But those who abuse
    it can always get reported.

    I haven't heard about this feature but it might be something that only preview testers are working on. This feature may be available in a future update.

    Hmm I have not heard of this either I don't think picture messaging is a real feature right now. I could be in the works though..

    The 360 and One use different gamer pictures.

    On Xbox.com, Xbox 360, Windows Phone and Windows 8, everyone sees your 360 picture.

    On Xbox One and in Xbox One SmartGlass they see your Xbox One picture (or a very small version of your 360 picture if you do not change after the transition). On Xbox One there are currently only the default images that were pre-loaded on the system, as
    far as I am aware.

    If the picture you are referring to is the silver horse on black background, it is still visible everywhere except on the One.

    While Smartglass is nice to help write a message connected to Xbox One. It is not a viable alternative to voice messages.
