    XBox One SmartGlass on Windows 10


    Hello,

    I have called today with XBox Support, but they can't help me. My Problem is, I can't play One Games on the PC with SmartGlass. I have download it on the Market but the Version Number is 2.2.1504.21038 .

    1. Why is in the Store XBox One SmartGlass and XBox One SmartGlass BETA !!???

    2. On the Support Page the newest Version is 8.8.15003.00000 but I don't get this one. I have check for Updates in the Store - nothing - I have deinstall and new install this App but the same Problem 2.2.1504.21038

    3. How can I get the Version 8.8.....

    XBox One Support tell me they can't help. Microsoft Windows 10 Support tell me they can't help me....

    I think the better Way is sale the XBox One an go to Sony ;-)

    Unable to access messages on xbox.com and Xbox app

    I'll give it a try when I get home, but I read it on Reddit that one needs SmartGlass to delete it. I upgraded my phone to Windows 10 and no longer have SmartGlass. The Xbox app on Windows 10 crashes the second I go to Messages.

    Hey there.

    To stream your Xbox One to your Windows 10 PC, you'll need to use the "Xbox" app - not "Xbox Smartglass" or "Xbox Smartglass BETA". Try searching the store for just "Xbox".

    It's for the Xbox One Smartglass app, not 360. Also as I said, I have the issue with the Mixer app as well.

    Smartglass is more a legacy app and still exists for those on Windows Phone 8 or Windows 8 where the Xbox App does not (yet) exist. For Windows 10, you are right in that the Xbox App essentially replaces Smartglass.
