    Xbox One Smartglass connecting problems


    Hi, my name is Jared, gamer tag is , and I'm making this post about the Xbox One smartglass app for the Windows phone. I've recently had to reconfigure my phone back to factory settings and I managed to get everything back to the way that I had
    it before, except that every time that I go to use the Xbox One Smartglass app it keeps it disconnected even when my Xbox One system is turned on. The error code that I have is 0x8000001F. When I go to look it up, there are no search results for this code
    what so ever. Can anyone help me with this issue? If so, feel free to contact me through the messenger app on Xbox One, or, feel free to reply to this on here. I would gratefully appreciate it.

    Can't get smartglass to connect

    Not sure if you figured this out yet but I had the same problem and the solution was that I had the smart glass app for the 360. You have to download the new xbox smart ass app for Xbox one. Hope this helps! 

    Smartglass connection problems

    Hello all,

    I've searched the Internet and can't find a solution to my issue. I can't get Smartglass to connect to my console over my wi-fi network . I have the app installed on my Xoom and Razr. I have Smartglass enabled on my console. I can't connect using either device. Eventually, I get a message saying "Unable to locate my console". I can, however, connect with my phone over 4g. Is there a setting on my router that needs to be changed? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

    xbox one smartglass on win8.1 wifi does not connect 0x8000001F

    I have the same problem, when connecting Xbox One SmartGlass same error code appears to Xbox One from a Surface Pro 2, in Lumia 920 does not have this problem...

    Correct, at this time the Xbox One SmartGlass application must be connected to the same home network that your Xbox One console is connected to in order to discover and connect to your Xbox One console.

    @EvoFool, can you double check that you have installed and are running the Xbox One SmartGlass app? This is a new application specifically for connecting to the Xbox One as distinct from the previous Xbox SmartGlass application which is used to connect
    to the Xbox 360 console. Thank you.

    I having a weird problem with Xbox One Smartglass. I have everything in my house hard wired except for my ipad which is wifi only and I connect my wife and my iphone occasionally for the ios updates. Now I can connect to my ipad with no problems at all because
    it's constantly coneected to the wifi but when I try to connect my iphone to smartglass, it only connect using wifi and not 4g. Is anybody else having this problem?

    Smart glass fix

    Make sure you have the right Smartglass app. There are 2. One for the 360 and one for the Xbox One. Also you can only connect your Xbox One to Smartglass over wifi. It will not connect over a 3g or 4g network.

    As long as both devices, the xbox One and the device using smartglass, are in the same section of the network, they should be able to connect. No matter if the One is connected by cable and the smartglass device is connected wireless, as it is not a direct
    (wireless) connection between both devices, but a connection over the network.
