Xbox One smartglass app crashing upon trying to open Oneguide after update.

It appears to be something within the app causing this as I have read others having this problem too. Hopefully Microsoft will fix it ASAP.

OneGuide missing from App

They have officially responded on reddit:

"OneGuide, including the guide, TV controls, and TV streaming, were removed from the Windows versions of the Xbox app. To use OneGuide on Windows, get the Xbox One SmartGlass app in the Windows Store. OneGuide is still part of the Xbox app on iOS and Android."

Thanks for your patience while we worked to get the fix out.

 

Logging out and logging back into the smartglass app usually fixes this crash. I experienced this issue on my iPhone and iPad. After signing off and then signing back in, the oneguide works fine for me now.

 

You on glass beta ?

Not had it crash in a while, but it certainly has on beta a few times.

 

I am not the update is live.

 

Also worth saying what tablet/phone you have, and what you were doing etc

 

I just updated the smartglass app on iphone and couldn't load in the guide the app just closed the app if i tried, but after signing out and in, everything works.

I also know its available on android but haven't tried it so don't know if the issue exists there.

 

Cool on android and ok for me, hope they fix the ios bug.

 

Try uninstalling the app .Then reinstall it sometimes updates can corrupt the programs is connection are lost during the update process.

 

In case you missed it yesterday, there was an update to the iOS version for the xbox one smartglass. This update should fix the issue of oneguide crashing when you try to open it.
