Xbox One Smartglass (android apk) & Dead Rising 3

Hi all,

Living in The Netherlands, my X1 is setup for using English/Unites States, I have got the Xbox One smartglass apk installed on both Samsung Galaxy S5 and Samsung Tab S. (latest version android apk!)

I can perfectly connect to the Xbox One on my network, I can start Dead Rising 3. I am that far that Co-op is available and you got the smartphone

When you click on Dead Rising 3 is running I can only see Details (which will show achievements, DLC etc) or Help. How the HELL do i get the map and stuff!?!?!?

There is no "companion" something or the blue screen with a home button I see in several video's.

This really blows, thanks for any help here!

Android SmartGlass - 2nd screen for games?

Is Xbox (360) SmartGlass for Android tablets & phones ever going to get the 2nd screen functionality for games like Forza Horizon & Halo 4?

It's been just over a year since the App was released, but that functionality is STILL missing on Android. It's especially frustrating considering even the iOS version of SmartGlass has had it from the beginning.

So, will Android get that functionality eventually, and if so, when?

Having said that, I'm glad that the Xbox One version of SmartGlass DOES support it straight out of the gate with games like Dead Rising 3.

 

Do you know if you're running a proxy on your tablet or phone? That might have an effect on smartglass.

Also, have you tried launching the game from the app itself?

 

Hi, no tablet and foon use the same netwerk as the xbox one, yes i started the game directly from the smartglass app, still only details and help are shown , not the option to start "" the app" .

it would be lame if this has something to do with the dutch release (also lame dat the first free dlc is not available so cant get those 2 extra books)
