xbox one sluggish need help

try this:

1. Whilst powered on, press and hold power button on front of console till it fully shuts down.

2.Press and hold eject and bind buttons, then press the power button (keep eject & bind pressed) and wait for second power up chime

3. From the troubleshooter menu select reset keeping all games & apps

My Kinect has stopped working. Need some time to test but I find XBox One really sluggish after the August update

its sluggish to begin with we need about 100 more dashboard updates till they figure it out!

UI sluggishness is something everybody suffers from, whether one has a Kinect or not. Voice commands are indeed useful and help you navigate through the dashboard faster but its use besides that is limited.

Thanks for the help, after looking into it I found that something had enabled cloud storage.

As for being sluggish I've cleaned the cache etc, but this hasn't helped. It's not really the console running slow in loading its when playing some games and at certain points the game becomes jittery and sluggish. i.e. In Battlefield 3 Sene Crossing map
at flag D the smoke coming from the building makes my game jitter and is sluggish.

I've had the same problem with PC games but that can usually be solved by reducing graphics settings and reducing particle effects but since the Xbox can't do this it is getting very annoying and more common.
