    Ive been having problems with my Xbox been slow loading off the green startup screen, and seems to struggle to load tiles and apps. I've cleared the system catch and the internal hard drive is less than half full.

    xbox dashboard issues..

    anyone else having xb1 dashboard issues???

    startup is fine... getting in and out of apps is fine.. but it wont load anything but the home screen... wont load my pins or anything to the right of home screen.

    this was after a unplug/reset fresh startup... i even tested my network thru xb1 and it says working fine with a check mark... but yet nothing loads up... earlier it even showed the gears as if xblive/network was down but i could still navigate my apps on home screen.

    New update breaks... everything

    My Xbox is doing the same thing. It is slow to load the home screen, slow to load apps, slow to load games. Even when I turn it on now it is super slow to come on. This new update looks great, but something has got to be fixed. My xbox has never been this
    slow to respond.

    Hey, Daniel!

    Sorry to see any loading issues with your console. I had this happen to me about a month ago on my personal console, and it was a frustrating experience. One of the first things I tried was a

    factory reset     on my console. You can select the option to keep your games and apps, but you may need to do a full factory reset.

    If that doesn't help out, it may be related to your power supply. Make sure you are plugged directly into the wall socket instead of a surge protector.

    Lastly, it could be internet related, since everything on the dashboard pulls from that to run. If none of the above helps you out, run a detailed network statistics for me and post back with the results. This will help me rule it out as a factor. You can
    find the network information by going to Settings > All settings > Network > Network settings > Detailed network statistics.

    hi again just to update u I've completed the factory reset after the console was stuck, via the offline update screen and the xbox is behaving like new.

    well it didn't last long managed to get the Xbox to work by resetting the screen resolution on start up and it seems to load up. Think I need a new Xbox lol

    It sounds like you might. That ended up being the result with my Xbox. We use ours as our only form of TV with Hulu and Netflix, so we had to get a new one.

    If you want to get a repair on it, you can always use our
    Device Support     site. If you are out of warranty, there is a charge, but it's cheaper than getting a new console. However, the decision is up to you!

    Again, please let me know if you have any other concerns, or if you get stuck somewhere doing a repair. Xbox one slow loading to home screen and load apps :)
