Xbox One Slow Detailed Network Statistics

When I do a speedtest through my PC I get a download speed of around 5 Mbps. Through the Xbox, I'm only getting 1.03 Mbps. What gives? Both are hardwired to the modem.

New Console, Terrible connection

To check, can you please send us your Detailed Network Stats (Settings>Network>Network Settings>Detailed Network Statistics) as seen on your Xbox One console?

Also, just to clarify, were you able to try running through our troubleshooting guide for

slow network performance and lag on your Xbox One console?

Any ideas? I usually get 5 to 10 Mbps download on a PC speedtest, but consistently 0.5 to 1 Mbps on the Xbox One speedtest. Makes no sense at all.

Several things can factor into this, but most likely is that the two devices are using different methods to return you results. One thing you can do to help yourself is rule out anything physical. Swap the cables the two are using. Do you note the same speeds
or a difference? Now try the original cable placement but switch the port its connected to on your hub and repeat the test. These tests rule out the cables themselves, which if damaged would see a slower throughput or speed of data transfer and rule out the
hub and the physical ports on it. Next you can test the device on another connection. Directly connect your one to your cable modem. Do you note a difference? It may be a defective device in the One. These should help you identify the source of your problem.

At one point I recall the Xbox matching my internet pretty closely. I tried unplugging everything from the router (which is a DSL modem/router combo) and only plugging in the Xbox. Didn't seem to help. I'll try different cables. I have already tried
moving it to different ports. Thanks for the response.
