Xbox One Sleep Timer for TV

Discus and support Xbox One Sleep Timer for TV in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; A sleep timer needs to be added to the xbox for the TV.     Xbox One Sleep Timer for TV


    A sleep timer needs to be added to the xbox for the TV. I understand that there is an automatic shut down feature for the system but it doesnt work when you're watching tv. I like to fall asleep while watching tv and there have been many times where I would
    be woken up at 4am because the Xbox didnt shut itsself off. Every TV has a sleep timer and one needs to be added to the XB1 to improve the experience.

    Xbox One Sleep Timer

    So like many, I like to fall asleep with the television on. This was never a problem before I ran my TV through Xbox One, as I set the sleep timer on my Samsung TV, and it obviously eventually went off. Now, with Xbox One, I can still set the sleep timer on my TV, and the TV will of course still shut off, but the Xbox One will remain on all night. Anyway to prevent this? I see that it has an inactivity feature where it will turn off after a certain amount of inactivity, but having the TV on screen does not count as inactivity. I fall asleep, and my Xbox just runs all night.

    Feature request...

    Thanks for the feature request, I'll let the team know. Xbox has a sleep timer, but we consider watching TV to be active, so it won't go to sleep while Live TV is on.

    Please add this as the option for xbox to turn of while watching tv on a sleep timer so I can watch it whilst going to sleep and have it switch off whilst I'm sleeping switching tv off aswel so needed and would be amazing thank you!
