    Xbox One Skype Video not working


    Hello, I have an Xbox One with the Kinect. When I am in Skype, I can see my Kinect camera is working fine. However as soon as I make a call, the image (via the preview window in the corner) freezes and I get the message
    that the Camera is in use by another application. I do not have any other application running in parallel and to try to resolve this I have switched off the Microsoft Edge browser from using the camera. I am not sure what else I can try to resolve this.

    Yes it is possible to have up to 3 participants on a video call on skype for Xbox One. Here is a link to the support page with the step-by-step to start the video call for 3 people:

    You are indeed right. The Xbox One can Skype for video chat, but Xbox Live Gold is required. Bummer. Skype is free, but that gold will cost you.

    Of course, because Skype will be the new communication feature like party chat and video chat. Gold users have access to Video Kinect and Xbox Live Party Chat for Xbx 360, so they will have access to a similar thing for Xbox One which is Skype. M want's
    us to use Skype which is why it's going to be a key feature in Xbox One.

    Can't Snap Skype.....

    Currently Skype for Xbox One doesn't support snapping. Check the section "I’m missing a feature in Skype for Xbox One. Where is it?" in the FAQ here:

    support.xbox.com/.../skype-faq

    You can snap other apps like IE, Music and Video to the running Skype app though.
