    Okay so I am trying to add an existing Microsoft account to my Xbox One S, and when I press add new and type the email it says create an account but I don't want to create an account I want to sign into one. Anything I can do to fix this?

    Power cycle your xbox. Should fix this problem. Turn it off and then unplug it from the wall, leave it unplugged for 5 mins, then plug back in and turn on.

    Does Microsoft not use a solution like Prolexic? Alternatively, send in Seal Team 6 and have done with it. It needs sorted one way or another.
