    Recently after the 400mb update some time ago, I've had a annoying problem. Every time I sign in, a few seconds later I get DC'd from XBL and it says "Sorry -Name- Sign in using a controller" so I sign in again and connect to XBL, and it does it again. It
    does this every time I turn on my Xbox or sign in, and it's only my profile, I can sign into my friends account and it doesn't do this. It didn't do this until after the update, so whatever the problem is it's something they introduced with the update, it's
    its slightly annoying having to do this EVERY time I sign in. I have my profile set to my controller, I have it set to auto sign me in, yet it still does this, any potential solutions?

    This hasn't helped ! I've been having this problem for weeks and I'm about to stop using my xbox and just buy red dead for ps 4. 5 different missions I almost complete and I get this sign in using controller thing. I know these issues arnt causing it cause
    it happens to my roommates account too and he has never had another xbox or account except for the one one my xbox. Please fix!

    Sign in using controller error

    Up in my notifications corner there is a message saying "sign in using controller." So I select launch and then get the following error message: "There was a problem. We couldn't sign you in. Try again in a few minutes, or check your account by signing
    in to account.live.com. Sign in: 0x80072EE7 Also, it seems there are two flashing red lights on the front of my controller that are always blinking. My controller is connected and functions just fine so I don't get it.

    I don't own a Kinect, and as far as I know I have not changed pass/email associated with my account.

    I will try removing and adding my account back though, and see if that works.

    Hey there kazbear123!

    When you sign in, are you using a second controller or are you using one controller? Generally, I recommend signing out of that profile and signing into the intended profile of use unless both players are using the Xbox One. This reduces the chance for any
    profile issues.

    We understand that you're experiencing an issue concerning the dual disconnection of the Xbox One wireless controller from the Xbox One console, and the console from the home network.

    A possible explanation to this has to do with system preferences in regards to the controller, specifically, the process of assigning an Xbox One controller to an account or vice versa.

    more information about this.

    This feature has the ability to disconnect the controller and sign the account out from the console, causing a disruption to the connection of the network.

    The way that this could happen, another may be attempting to sign into your account, or there was enough of a disruption from the network that forced a sign out.

    Simply check if this feature is in use, and let us know the results.

    Put instant on and do not link the controller to the profile and that shouod fix it
