Xbox One Sign In Error

Hopefully someone can help with this sign in error. I'll post my router/modem details below, but let me explain what I'm seeing. So I have my account set for instant sign-in...every single time it boots, I see "Sorry David!" and it doesn't sign in. So
then I try manually signing in, and it gives me error 0x87DD017. If try signing in again, same error. Over and over. But when I come online here on my laptop and then sign in, and then go BACK to my xbox one, bang, it signs in. Every time! For the first
month, I just put up with it, and chalked it up to a new console. I've deleted my profile, held the power button, unplugged the power, etc, etc...I've tried everything. But now it's just annoying, so I'm making a post. Here's my settings:

Listed above. Only workaround is to come and sign-in online here, and then go back to my Xbox One, and it signs in.

No, NAT is always open.

anyone at moment can't sign into there gt on xbox live?

Red Dead Redemption Error Message Help

I fixed it.

Go to Xbox.com and find your security settings for your profile, then find "Xbox 360 Profile Protection" and set it to require the profile to redownload the profile every time you sign in (this will also sign you off of all 360 consoles you were previously signed into).

Since my 360 had been set up to automatically sign in, I'm thinking the Xbox One thought I was still signed in on my 360, and obviously you can't be signed in on multiple Xbox's on the same profile at the same time, so it flagged an error.

At least that's my guess. I also cleared my Xbox 360 local data and did a console restart.

Just follow those steps and it should hopefully be fixed.

 

same thing when i got home today. sign-in error, i come here, log-in, and then i can sign in on xbox one. then netflix doesn't launch with another error. i get on chat, and it's no help. said they couldn't determine the problem. i did chat with them
about the inability to change the channels on my set top box, and they said to get a newer box from my cable company. lol so of course i call my cable company, and the newer box costs me $20 extra a month. no thanks. so after 9 fun years with xbox, i sold
my xbox one today, as i have better use of the money for christmas. a month of frustration was too much. hope microsoft gets this worked out, and i can get one a year or so down the road. plus, i'm a large stockholder in microsoft!

Yesterday all ok.

 

Solved with router reboot...tough all test net with One pass.
