Xbox One sign in error message and error codes.

Hey all, Recently there have been some random occurances where I turn on my Xbox One and instead of signing me in a notification pops up saying, "Couldn't sign in, sign in using a controller". I can then sign in just fine with the controller, but when
I then go to the notification section and launch that message, I get another message stating, "There was a problem. We couldn't sign you in. Try again in a few minutes, or check your account by signing in to account.live.com. Sign in: 0x870072EE7". I've also
gotten the same message but with the code "0x87DD000F". I've looked up both codes and the only troubleshooting I've found has to do with system updates not downloading because of poor network connections, and my updates have installed just fine. Could this
be just a poor network connection at the moment I'm turning the console on or is there a hardware issue I need to be concerned with?

Anyone else havin a problem. Its accepting the code and displaying what its for but when i click to download i'm gettin an error message everytime with no specific error codes. ***!

I'm sorry to hear about the error code issue. It is possible that at the time of signing in there may have been a connection issue. I would suggest trying these steps if this issue happens again.

Please give the following steps a try:

• Press and hold the power button on your console for 10 seconds.
• Once your console is powered off, unplug the power cord.
• Leave the console unplugged for 5 minutes and plug in your console.
• Power on your console.

If this issue continues to occur then please let us know and we will be here to help.

 

I have had this issue as well. I've tried the reboot, unplugging, and even tried a factory reset yesterday.

Kinect still won't sign me in. It doesn't seem like a hardware issue because if I go to "I wasn't recognized" the kinect will recognize me.

 

I'm having the same issue today. The error message isn't even listed on Xbox.com so no help there! And when I go to the "I was not recognised" option, it takes me to the error screen not to the Kinect view.

 

I'm getting the same issue here. Whenever I try to sign in through voice or controller it is giving me the "0x87DD000F" error code.

I have also tried all of the above suggested solutions and nothing has worked.

 

I followed the advice and the only difference is I got the second error code (006). Still no connect screen and because I can't sign in, my Xbox one is currently useless.

I am also having this problem for about an hour now. I try to sign in and it shows the error code and try again in a few minutes. Is there a hardware issue I have to now deal with? Cause this is now my second xbox one now...I was one of the lucky people
that had a defective one already with a tray that would not work and it had to be returned to the store. Not to mention all of the consoles I went through for 360....4, and my son's 360 hard drive still does not work, we have to use a flash drive instead.
I'm telling you, it makes a person contemplate switching over to playstation.
