Xbox One shutting off

The Xbox last night was working fine, and this morning it now seems that the something has changed, as now I can go for about three minutes before the Xbox will, just turn itself off. I've disabled "stop turning off automatically" in case there was a glitch
with that, but it seems that had no effect. The Xbox itself is well ventilated so I think it's unlikely that it's overheating, and the power supply itself hasn't taken any damage recently.

Has anyone else had this issue? Does anyone know the cause and how to fix it?

No, it doesn't give any messages. If I am watching YouTube or Hulu then select a gave that I was playing before watching videos on those Apps. The screen goes black and after maybe 10 seconds the console will shut off. Most times it restarts within a few
seconds. Other times I have to turn it back on. The controller does not shut off.

xbox one shutting off

Well it could be one of two things:

Coding problems within the system that causes it to shut down to save data

or

its overheating.

Does it say anything after restarting or prior?

Hey buddy. Sorry bout the inconvenience. What it sounds like is that if you have more than one application running, your Xbox is trying to run them simultaneously and there might not be enough network to support that. Your Xbox will crash or revert to dashboard
if the console is outrunning your network. Here's some
trouble shooting for your console shutting down and also some Xbox live required guidelines for your network.

Either your outlet your plugged into can be shorting out, cable damaged or where the xbox plugs into might be faulty now.

If the power block is green its good.

I would recommend sending it in if its still under warranty

Under Settings > OneGuide > Devices there is setup to control your TV with your Xbox. It is unlikely that it would work the other way around.

If the power supply is working it could be the outlet you’re using. Would it be possible to test it directly from the mains for a while?

I'll try that. It does it randomly so it would be hard to recreate. It does it every 2 days or so.
