    XBOX ONE Shutting off while gaming


    My XBOX ONE is shutting off by itself while playing games. It does not shut off while watching VUDU or anything.

    The Xbox is in an open clear space but after a few minutes the Xbox shuts off. I have had this same problem before. When I turn the console on it gives me a message about ventilation. So will a cooling fan help the issue or should I send it for repair?
    Also, my warranty has ran out.

    It sounds like a ventilation issue and it could be something internal. You may need to send it in for repairs. To do that just follow the steps here

    This sounds like your xbox over heating. you will need to make sure the vents on the xbox are not blocked. also make sure you console is not it a closed space with other devices that are in use.
