xbox one shutting off on it's own

I have a standard edition xbox one. It keeps shutting itself off shortly after turning it on. Sometimes it'll stay on for a minute, sometimes a few seconds and sometimes I don't have any issues but the other day no matter what I did it would not stay on.
I ordered a new power brick after researching and finding that as the usual fix for people with the same issue. It worked fine the day I got the new brick but now it's doing it again. I've done the power reset(unplugged it for 10 secs and plugged it back in)
but that doesn't always work. Could it just be that the inside of the xbox isn't clean? i can't think of anything else and I don't really want to have to take it apart. thanks in advance.

Probably some component of the console power supply, I had a similar problem, I changed the source, but I had to change the console, it was still under warranty and Microsoft solved it as best as possible, if it is still under warranty see with the support,

It sounds like you need to replace the power supply pack. I had to do this for my original Xbox One about a year ago. After I replaced the supply pack it started working like new again. You can find them on Amazon for around $30 USD.

It might be that, or it could also be something as simple as unplugging everything for a minute, then plugging everything back in. Also, Support recommends plugging the Xbox One directly into a wall outlet (no surge protector / power bars).

I already did that, got a brand new power brick and it hasn't fixed the issue.

It could be a number of things, the power supply could be faulty, there could be dust inside the console causing problems.

I suggest running a power cycle first, if that doesnt work, then i recommend trying to borrow a power supply from a friend to test it out.

if the problem persists, then you may need to send it in for repairs as there may be something broken on the board itself.
