Xbox one shutting off by itself and quick access menu popping up on its own

    Xbox one shutting off by itself and quick access menu popping up on its own


    for a while now whenever my Xbox one s is plugged into the internet it occasionally shuts off without warning. The quick access menu also pops up randomly and rapidly over and over. Is there anyone else with these problem and is there’s any way for me to
    fix this.

    Xbox shutting off and restarting by itself.

    I have owned my xbox for almost a year, it has shut off a few time within the past 3 or 4 months but now it shuts off atleast every 30 minutes. I have 2 dogs that shed alot and it could be dirty making it overheat but I'm not sure what I should. Don't want
    to try and clean it myself and fully break it. Any ideas.?

    Have you ensured that your console has plenty of room for ventilation? The
    Xbox One console ventilation     guide has more info in regards to how to set up your console to ensure that there is plenty of ventilation. Additionally, if your Xbox One console is randomly shutting off, then we'd recommend following the steps in the

    Xbox One unexpectedly turning off     guide to help troubleshoot this issue.

    I am sorry to say but the problem is still occurring, I have made sure that my console can vent and I even tried plugging it right into a new outlet in case it was a problem with my power strip. I also still have the problem with the center button being
    pressed on my controller without input

    Just to clarify, are you currently able to power on the console with the power button on the console itself, or are you unable to power on the console via your controller? If your controller is not syncing with your console, then
    we'd recommend following the steps in the
    Troubleshoot Wireless Controller     guide to help troubleshoot this process.
