Xbox one shutting down trying to load store

hello all,

So my problem is when i try to go into the Microsoft store my console turns off. I can play a disk game with no issues. It shuts down every time the microsoft icon loads on the screen. Its the advanced warefare addition. Switched power bricks with working
xbox still shuts down. Cleaned out console and power brick. Any ideas? Thanks

Is this happening with only your games or other apps too?

If this is happening "only" with your games (any game) then this is your OS what's causing this issue. Unfortunately there is nothing you can do at this point. You are just going to have to wait for the next system update and hopefully this issue should
fix. If you are having this problem then you are not alone, I have this issue and other people as well.

If your console is shutting down on apps too then there is something wrong with your console or power supply.

 

Xbox Shutting Down on load

My xbox has been shutting down when I load something. It will run for however long I want it to, but when I load anything it shuts down almost immediately. I have tried everything I have found about this on the internet and so far nothng has worked. I have
tried discs and digital games, factory reset, clearing the cache, using different outlets and more and so far none of it works. I hope I can get this fixed soon.

 

Hey Reefkrazy! Does the store open successfully on the second console? In the My Games and Apps section, is there an update for the store pending? Additionally, is the console using a wired or wireless connection? Post back and let us know!

 

yes on both other ones (one x and xbox one open y he store fine. Just on this on this one console it doesnt work. Its currently wireless. I dont believe there was an update for the store on that consol. I did look for that.

 

Hey Reefkrazy! Does the same issue occur if you use a wired connection? Additionally, do you ever get an error code or message when the store fails to open? Post back and let us know!

 

Doesnt matter if its wired or not. Got the store to open and while downloading a game it shut down. Took it all apart and the fan is running on the board. The xbox was in a cold room. Never got hot. No codes. Just shuts off

 

Hey Reefkrazy! Because you have opened the console it will not be eligible for repair. If the console does not turn back on, you will need to purchase a new one. Thanks!
