XBOX One Shutting Down at Loading of FIFA 16

I bought an XBOX in the US with FIFA 16, played them there, and then moved to Israel. I have the proper converters for an XBOX here and was able to turn on the system fine and started up FIFA. Upon reaching the main menu, the system just shuts down. I've
tried many things to resolve this, including hard resets, looking at my power settings, clearing the cache, uninstalling and reinstalling, and finally I downloaded the game from the store to see if the disc was maybe messed up. Nothing has worked. I considered
that it's the power supply, but it seems unlikely given how all of my other electronics work fine here. I also don't own any other games for the console, so I don't really know if others work. And frankly I'm reluctant to buy any others because of the first
not working. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I also know that the XBOX store says no refunds on games, but if there's any way to get credit instead because it doesn't work, I would truly be very grateful. Of course, I'd prefer if FIFA just worked =P.

Sorry to hear FIFA 16 is having trouble launching, let's get that sorted! Let's go through these steps first:

• Press and hold the power button on the Xbox One console for 10 seconds, or until the Xbox One fully powers down. This will clear the system cache.
  
• Power back on and try to launch the game.

If the issue continues, follow these next steps:

• Uninstall FIFA 16
  
• Press and hold the power button on the Xbox One console again until the console powers down.
  
• Power back on and reinstall FIFA 16.

Try those steps out and let us know how it goes!

Sorry you're having issue with your Xbox. Do any games work? If no games work at all, based on the steps you noted above you can try to clear persistent storage. To do this go to go to setting, then disc and Blu-ray. If that doesn't work and it is a power
issue, then I would suggest going to
https://myservice.xbox.com to order a new power supply for your region.

If you only have issues with the one game, and the above doesn't fix it, then try a Factory reset: http://support.xbox.com/en-US/xbox-one/system/reset-console-to-factory-defaults

 

Thank you for your quick reply! The persistent storage thing did not work unfortunately. I don't have any other games and have tried a factory reset. I'll maybe try ordering a new power supply. Anything else you can think of?
