Xbox one shuts off while playing ESO

i can stay in game only for a few mins untill the console turns off leaving the controler and tv still on. i have no problem turn the consol bak on, but if i play ESO it shuts off after a few mins again.

i have tried a different game and it does not turn off ( SMITE).

tried moving pluggins.

even did a factory reset.

nothing has worked, i can watch tv for hours, watch streaming videos on internet, and play other games

Xbox One will shut down while playing games only.

Xbox One will shut down while playing games only. I can unplug the power supply and plug it back in, and Xbox will work again. But after about 20 minutes of playing a game again it will shut off. Any suggestion of what to do.

Xbox One Shuts Off While Streaming

Same here.. and they want me to send in my console which will take 3-4 weeks to get back or put a $400 hold on my card to get a new one in the mail.. kind of annoyed by this... since you spend $500 on something you would like for it to actually work.. 3-4
weeks?? That's a really long time to miss out on when you're playing team events or leading a clan thru VOG hard on destiny. Just saying.

that doesn't sound too good and there are a few possible causes/solutions. I would tend to think its an ESO problem but here are a couple of things to check.

Firstly have a look at
this as this fixed some issues of ESO crashing and taking the xbox with it.

Secondly run through
this page with possible causes/solutions.

I none of those seems to work I suggest you
contact main support to see if they have any other suggestions! Hopefully you get it sorted!

Hello David, sorry to hear you're having trouble with your console.

Which model Xbox One are you using please and if it's plugged into a surge protector please try plugging it directly to a wall outlet.

When the console shut down did it feel warm?

The more I read these articles from today. I think they are saying it can be completely shut down IF AND ONLY IF the Xbox One is shut off, not while it's playing games or watching television.

I would almost bet a paycheck on it.

So your issue is with the hour of inactivity? You can change that from 1 hours too 6 hours or n/a if that's the cause you believe then head over too settings - Power & start up - Power mode & start up - Turn off after - 1 / 6 / N/A Hours
