Xbox one shuts off completely

Hi,

So i have this problem that when i play a game after a few minutes, my xbox one original console will completely shut off. The powerbrick will shut down to the point there is no white nor an orange light. When i plug it back in the powersocket the light
will be normal orange, no flickering, and when i turn my xbox on the light is white. My xbox does not give any message it gets to to hot or something. Any help is appreciated.

Please try a full power cycle on the console to start - power cycle

Be sure you have your xbox plugged into the main wall outlet not via an extended lead or surge protector to make sure your xbox is getting the full power it needs.

Make sure your xbox is in a well ventilated space and has its vents free from dust build up.

Thanks for the reply. I cleaned my xbox, made sure it is free from dust, so i guess its the powerbrick. I'll try a new one.

hey thanks for asking for help. it could be two thing 1. the power brick is now old and faulty, they have over heat sensors in them and they did in the day blow out causing shut down to protect Xbox console ,2. make sure all the fan exits are clear on
the console hoover the air exits to remove dust ,this also causes over heat and shut down ,so clean or change brick .

This problem also happened to me, I had the power plug attached to a power strip, I tried to put the plug directly into the socket without power strip and it didn't give me any more problems

I just got the Xbox One this morning. I used the controller once and went to unplug the microphone and it shut off completely.
