    XBOX One shuts off after 30 seconds and doesn’t get recognized. Can’t do a reset.


    Hi guys. After a week of researching online, i have found no solutions for this. Before i explain my issue; yes i have unplugged everything, waited seconds, minutes, hours, days etc and it didnt resolve the issue.

    i was downloading Call of Duty when my xbox was working fine. The download was long, so i left it on over night. I did have my small Apple TV resting on the XBOX (not sure if this caused anything).

    The next day, i came to find my xbox off. I tried turning it on; pressed the button, would hear a chime and it would turn on. Nothing would apprear on the screen and the TV says “no signal”. 30 seconds later the xbox shuts off.

    i have tried holding the eject and sync button then pressing power. No help. Ive replaced the power brick. Also no help.

    any other ideas? Thank you in advance.

    Hey there, so the system powers on, but shuts off after 30 seconds? Does anything display on the TV at all or just blank? There are two things I’m thinking of. One is that for some reason it’s overheating and shutting itself off and the other is that somethings
    wrong with the HDMI port and since I can’t display the signal it shuts itself off

    Hi Chronic, try doing a hard reset of your console. Hold the power button on the front of the console until it shuts off then unplug it from the outlet for 30 seconds. After 30 seconds plug the console back in and power back on. Hopefully this will resolve
    the issue your having.

    Try doing a hard reset (hold the power button down on the console until it shuts off, unplug it, plug it back in after 30 seconds, then turn it back on). Sometimes it just needs to resync.

    I can’t because as soon as the hard drive is plugged in and the Xbox recognizes it, the Xbox shuts off

    Do a power cycle turn off the xbox holding the button for 30 seconds then after it shut off wait a few minutes then turn it on, it should stop the game from freezing
