Xbox One Shuts Down

Hi All.

So here's my issue. Yesterday, my Xbox One (original, 2014/15 model) decided to shut down after loading a game. I've been playing "Vampyr," which, despite some latent loading screens, has run pretty well ( — I've read online that other users have faced similar
latent loading screens). After the console shut off, it wouldn't turn back on, so — per the online instructions — I unplugged both the console and the power cable for 10 seconds before replugging everything. The LED light, which had turned off, reappeared,
and the console came back to life.

That said, when I tried booting up "Vampyr," the console turned back off (without the characteristic three-note chime it usually makes: it just shut down). I went through the steps again and this time decided to boot up a game I thought would work given
it had previously done so ("Resident Evil 2"). It, too, shut down the console. I tried unplugging the console for three minutes — again, per online instructions and the proferred recommendation given to me through the "Pro Gamer" feature — and the same thing
happened again. I did a factory reset; deleted "Vampyr" from my console; and deleted any possibly corrupt save files from the console, but it continues to shut down every time I launch a game.

I was, therefore, wondering whether anyone else has encountered this issue, and, if so, what their fix ended up being. I was told by an Xbox representative that this might be a hard drive issue but I wanted to confirm this with the community, especially
in light of the fact that all repair centers by me are, unfortunately, closed.

I am, of course, amenable to repairing the device I've taken care of these last five years, I'm just loath to drop a ton of money when it was running perfectly fine 24 hours ago (and Microsoft seems unable to provide any useful advice).
