Xbox One Shuts Down (No over heating, powerbrick and Xbox Light both shot off at once!)

Dear support.

I have had this problem reappearing now once again. My first incident occurred after the Powerbrick had been replaced due to the last one rupturing on the carpet. When I got the new Power Brick things seemed to work out fine. But as I'm playing a game the
Xbox itself unexpectedly shuts off by itself.The light on the Power brick and the system shut off at once and I can't turn it on unless I unplug it from the wall and the system, doing a system reset.

I called support a while back about the problem but they can't figure it out apparently. I have had no problems with it for almost a month and a half, doing fine time with my games. But now its unexpectedly happening again! I'll be in mid-session of my game
and the system would just power down! It is not overheating, it's on a wood surface and open space! There is no dust accumulation to my awareness because I blow it out annually with an air sucker that produces enough air to remove dust and debris.

It also happens spontaneously. Sometimes it can be twenty to thirty minutes into gameplay before it shuts off on its own, sometimes within seconds of starting gameplay it'll shut off. Does anyone else experience the same problems? What should I do?

Xbox one s keeps turning off after an hour

My Xbox one s keeps turning off after an hour I've been to settings and turned off 1 hour automatic shut down but still it keeps turning off I thought it my be over heating so I had it cleaned but no problems please help

I've noticed my Xbox One could be over heating because when I turn my Xbox One off the power light flashes couple of times and it takes around 5-10 seconds for the Xbox One console to turn off, could this be over heating?

That seems like a hardware issue caused by power overload. My suggestion for you would be to send your console fore repairs:

Do you use instant on mode or energy saving mode?

Instant on mode is like standby mode on your pc. If the console glitches and you switch the console off the glitch remains because your console is in standby.

So if you are using instant on then try a full shutdown by holding to power button until console fully shuts down and powerbrick light turns orange.

Once powerbrick light is orange disconnect the power for a couple of minutes before switching back on.

Hey guys, as TwiiKz said do not attempt the towel trick because that could cause the Xbox to over heat, also a over heating problem would be indicated on the Xbox 360 S by two red lights and would automatically shut down. So at this point, one red light
usually means there is a issue with the HDD, so try removing the HDD and see if the console works without issues. If it in fact does, it could mean that the HDD is faulty. Also try disconnecting and reconnecting all the cables both on the console, power supply
and wall.

when I shutted off the xbox and then unplug the power the light on brick did go red and i do remember 2 other instances where the powerlight on powerbrick has been red
