    Xbox one shut off when loading the games intro.


    hi,

    when starting any game on Xbox one, the game intro starts and then unexpectedly the whole console shut off.

    it cannot run by pressing start on the controller, i have to start the console again from the console start bottom itself.

    this is happening with all games only. Blu-ray discs are working fine, loading contents is fine.

    i tried to clear the persistent storage, restarts, close the console by pressing start for 10 sec's then unplugging it totally from power, but nothing.

    last thing i connected the console to the internet through a wired connection instead of wireless, and tried offline mode too.... still crashing.

    any idea's?

    yes. second day in. intro kept loading and loading never allowing me into game. try doing a hard boot on console (hold power button until it shuts off)

    Witcher 3- will not launch

    I was playing witcher 3 til about 7 pm east coast time. I was doing a quest and then it gave me a permanent loading screen. I've shut my xbox off and on, unplugged everything, made sure everything was up to date, Uninstaller and reinstalled . The game
    will get past the intro screens and cuts cents and then I get unending loading again.

    I've done the reset already. Apps like YouTube and sky TV work OK. It will sit in the menus all day but as soon as I click on game it shows the game image then just shuts down completely, happening on all games, thanks

    The console does not show you any error message? It just shuts down as soon as you try to play any game? Or you are able to play games for some time?

    Try to power reset it:

    1​​. Turn off your console and your router/modem.

    2. Unplug all the cables from both devices (power, HDMI, etc..) and wait 2 minutes.

    3. After 2 minutes, plug all the cables in again on your router/modem and wait for all the lights to show up.

    ​​​4. Plug all the cables on your console and turn it on.

    If the power reset does not work and this is happening on all your games, not just a few games, I'd suggest you to factory reset your console:

    Settings > System > Console info > Reset this xbox > Reset and keep my games and apps.

    Note: the "Reset and keep my games and apps" option will not make you lose your games, but you will need to sign in to your account again.

    Let me know if this helps or the issue persists.

    Is the console connected direct to a power wall? And is it updated to the last version?

    You can try a full factory reset by going to Settings > System > Console info > Reset this xbox > Reset and remove everything.

    If this still does not work and all your games are having this same issue, your console is faulty. You will need to ask it to be repaired.
