Hey there Mister Mascot! The situation is still as described by snikefriend on my end. It does show the 360 players online, however, the game they are playing is not displayed!

Hi there Mister Mascot. The situation has not changed since my last update. The friends list now shows the 360 players online but it still doesn't display the game they are playing. They just appear online with no game played. Here are some more screenshots

Thanks very much for letting us know and the screenshots snikefriend. Are you seeing the same thing on the Xbox One console as well or is it only showing this in the Xbox App right now?

Hey there everyone,

Thanks very much for your patience on this. We heard back from the team looking into the issues with the friends list on the Xbox One console and Xbox App and they have informed us that what you're seeing is by design.

Unfortunately it's not something that they will be fixing. Basically, some regions won't be able to see some features that were carried over from the legacy system and this is one of them.

Thanks so much for all of the information you have provided and please feel free to create a new thread if you have any other support issues.

It's really strange the fact that it is by design and A) Xbox.com shows the friends list properly and B) uservoice assistance guided me here because my issue was support based! (Imgur: The magic of the Internet)
This kinda makes no sense. Anyway, I guess we can't do anything on this! Thanks.

@Galactic Geek The 360 will show anyone online on their One as 'Xbox One', while the One's friends list feature will show everyone and what game they are playing, regardless of what console they are using.

The 360 does not show what Xbox One title they are playing.

I'm getting the same problem. I removed the profile and readded the profile but still no achievements showing where the leaderboard should be.

I also play on Xbox 360 and when I check on friends who play on Xbox 360 they show no achievements either which should do, so maybe if you play on Xbox 360 (and Xbox ONE) you get this bug? Although friends who have not played anything for months/years still
show achievements

I have this issue with two of my friends. Added one on 360 and the other through Xbox One. Neither of them show online to me even though they are and we've checked all the settings...

I also have two friends whom I added on my 360, who only play 360, but do not show on that friends list. But they do appear in my xbox one friends list. I didn't even have xbox one when I added them

D33dies - my xbox 360 friends show on my friends list on my xbox one, but are you saying that they wont ccme up as a notification when they come online ? Thats a shame,. When im playing a game, the only way i know then is if they send me a message

If your friends are playing the Xbox One then they wont show up in the notification pop up.

It only counts friends playing the Xbox 360
