    XBox One shows no networks


    About 2 months ago i purchased a refurbished Xbox. Ive had a persistant issue around the wireless networking.

    The Xbox will connect to wireless and stay connected for several days, then it drops the wireless connection. And not a normal dropped connection but “there are no wireless networks available” type of drop. No errors or other problems present.

    I have:

    created a new xbox live account.

    factory reset the device.

    manually updated to the latest patch version.

    enabled port forwarding on my router.

    disabled enhanced security on the router.

    if i hardwire the Xbox in, the wireless connections will come back shortly afterwards and the device will be stable for a few days before losing all networks again.

    I have a second Xbox One on this same wireless network that works fine, withojt any disruption so i am at a bit of a loss. Any help is appreciated.

    Though to complicate things further, the Xbox One DOES show up when I go to "Media Streaming options" under Network and Sharing Center and show devices on Local network... it is set to "Allowed". But it only shows up in the one screen, and not from the devices
    manager or as a "Play To" option.

    To start things out, can you please clarify what your detailed network statistics are showing up as under network settings? Just want to see what your network speeds are showing up as on your Xbox One. Thanks!

    Hi there!

    If the same thing happened when you brought your console to a different house, the issue must be with your console.

    I suggest that you perform a factory reset to remove potentially corrupted data in it. There's an option to keep your games and apps.
    Press the Xbox button to open the guide.
    Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Console info.
    Select Reset console.
    On the Reset your console? Please choose “Reset and keep my games & apps”
