    Hi

    My Xbox One has just recently started showing a black screen after the green screen boot up.

    Whenever I press the Xbox guide button in the middle of my remote a pop-up appears displaying a "Something Went Wrong" message about an error code of 0x80070490. Please help me, I've tried a power cycle and it didn't do anything. I'd really appreciate any
    help.

    Hi, with the Xbox powered off press and hold the bind button on the Xbox and disc eject button on the Xbox, keeping both those buttons held press the Xbox power button once only, shortly you should get a troubleshooting screen appear, let go of the buttons
    once that's up.

    Power your Xbox controller on and select the option to reset the xbox and the option to reset and keep your games & apps, you will need to add your account/s back to the Xbox after the reset so be sure you know the login details before trying the reset.

    How long did you leave it for?

    During a cold boot it will show the logo then black screen for up to a minute before the green boot screen shows up.

    Still haven't received the new system update!
