Xbox one showing all friends as offline

Today i turned my xbox one on to join a party and play a game with some friends, but i was surprised and eventually infuriated when it started showing friends who I knew were "online" as "offline". I then restarted my xbox and the friends list worked normally
,but other things like the leaderboards weren't looking the same as they used to.Then, after I joined a friends party my mic wouldn't work so i backed out and tried to rejoin the party , only to find that my friends list was showing everyone as offline again.
I've also tried changing my connection from "wired" to "wireless" and restarted my xbox several more times with no success. I saw some posts about this issue happening in OCT of 2014 but there were no recent ones so i post this. Please work this out microsoft
my friend is having the same problem so it cant be just me.

Friends showing as offline

I have been having this issue for awhile now when I get on my Xbox to play a game with my friend he always shows as offline even though I know he is not. I appear as online on his xbox but he appears as offline all the time on mine, I know he is not offline
because we play games together I have tried all the normal solutions and nothing is fixing it. Has anyone found a real solution to this issue.

deleting your profile from your Xbox One and
re-downloading it?

Deleting and re-downloading didn't work.

 

its not you its xbox itself were all having friend list issues

i even reset my xbox and still got issues. my 2 freinds in my party are having the same issue

Havin the same problem September 11 2015, no service alerts yet. come on and get it together microsft pleaase.

 

I just purchased 2 copies of Battlefront. Played some really fun coop with my buddy last night, only to find, despite us both being logged in, all our friends are listed as offline (even though we are logged in sitting next to each other). Looks like this
is a recurring issue with no steps to go thru to resolve. Please help!
