    Xbox One sharing inbox Messages with Xbox 360! How do i stop it?


    My Xbox One shares an account between itself and my Xbox 360, this account has Xbox Live, which is the reason it is shared between the two. I no longer use the 360, it is used by my 5 year old nephew and my father, but to use xbox live, they have to use
    the shared account.

    When I receive messages on the Xbox One, they appear both in the inbox on the Xbox One, & the 360. I don't want this to happen, as then my nephew and father can read my conversations (except only one way, they only receive the messages I get, not send out
    of course).

    So, is there a way to set the 360 to not receive messages from the Xbox One, without fully removing the 360's option to receive messages? I just want the accounts to not share the same inbox, I DO however still want the 360 to be able to receive messages,
    just not ones meant for the Xbox One.

    I realise there are options to either make the 360 not receive messages completely, or to also set up a separate account, but neither of these answers are what i'm looking for, since I don't want to spend money on Xbox Live for the separate account, and
    I do want my father and nephew to still send/receive messages, but only their own, and not mine.

    I just want to stop sharing my xbox live gold membership with other profiles in my xbox one.

    Past days I saw the option for stop sharing gold but I cant find it again.

    Anyone knows how to?

    Anybody know what the criteria is to get this? No message in my inbox, despite pre-ordering the Xbox One months before it was released, direct from MS too!

    Hey there, unfortunately, not. The share functions of Home console are not compatible with the Xbox 360, so they would need to directly access your account in order to gain its benefits. Your only option to keep them from your messages is to have them sign
    up for their own account and subscription.

    xbox live: your message cant be sent ... ever time i try to send a messageor friend request

    If no then try deleting a message in your inbox, if a message can't be deleted then the problem is from your Xbox 360.

    If you can delete a message from your inbox then your messaging limit has been reached

    HELP: Preview program invite disappeared

    I kind of have the same problem but i have not received a message from Xbox to the preview program, but they still state that they have sent one but i have been checking the inbox on my xbox every day.

    Latest message from xbox was a inv to Gear of war Beta, so stop saying you sent a inv when i dont have one!

    4 of my friends have sent a inv to the program to see if that would do something to the problem, but no. I hope they find a solution to this problem

    Hi there,

    On the 360 (or 360 Smartglass app) any message in the inbox will be from the person who sent the message.

    If you are using the Xbox App in Windows 10 (or the Xbox One Smartglass app), the messages show up as a conversation with the incoming message on the left, and the response from the receiving account on the right (typically in another color).
